Throughout the year, we will be focusing on each of the five pillars, and teach you ways to adopt this way of life, no matter where you are in the world.

PILLAR 1: Eat Well

The Mediterranean Diet is a way of eating inspired by the traditional cuisines of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, Italy being one. This way of living isn’t just the norm or an outline to typical dishes you’ll find, it’s a holistic approach to well-being that makes it all the more practiced and praised.

We’ve all heard of the slow-paced lifestyle, and “il dolce far niente”, well, now is the time to see what it’s all about.

I am a Tuscan-born and bred food writer, cookbook author, food photographer, and cooking class instructor.

 

I started from a deeply rooted passion for my food and heritage which turned into my blog, Juls’ Kitchen, in 2009. I was very lucky because after a few years I was able to turn what I love most into my full-time job, combining teaching cookery classes with food writing and photography.

 

My love for cooking and my desire to share the curiosity for traditional family recipes has led me to you.
