Ciao, we're Clara and Martina, and we can't wait to help you improve your Italian language!
We’re Clara and Martina, the founders of My Italian Room, an online Italian language school that helps learners become confident speakers.
Our journey began with a shared passion for languages. We both studied languages at university, have lived abroad, and know first-hand both the excitement and the challenges of building a life in another country and learning a foreign language.
After years of living abroad and teaching Italian to students from around the world, we realised that many learners knew far more than they believed but lacked the confidence to use Italian in real life. That inspired us to create a different kind of learning experience, combining structured lessons, small-group conversation, personalised feedback and a supportive international community.
When we’re not teaching or creating new learning experiences, you'll usually find us travelling, reading, trying a new sport, or discovering a hidden café wherever we happen to be.
